Olympic Day is scheduled for Monday, June 5th.
We will be using the field across from Elementary South.
If you have parents that are contacting you about volunteering, please pass along any information or forward on any emails to Courtney.
If we are not able to go outside we will have a backup plan for an Indoor Olympic Day.
Here are the times when each grade level will participate.
8:15 to 10:10: Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd
12:00 to 1:55: 3rd, 4th, 5th
The students will follow the normal recess/lunch schedule as if it is a regular school day. Students will follow their regular lunch routine, either ordering a lunch or bringing in their own.
We are coming up with a revised specials schedule to cover teachers as much as possible when the students have Art, Music, or PE.
Teachers, we are encouraging students to bring a water bottle for the event. Please come up with a system that works best for you for handling the water bottles during the games. There will be a water station available where the kids can refill their water bottles. We will send a reminder flyer home in a few weeks.

Field Day will be taking place on the Elementary South Field across the street just South of the water park. Please allow yourself 10 minutes to walk over there. We recommend having the kids all use the bathroom prior to the leaving for the field. K-2 teachers please be at your station by 8:10. The airhorn will go off every 10 minutes to signal a rotation.
Water Station: This is for the kids to refill their water bottles at if needed. There will be cups there for kids that do not have a water bottle. We will put a couple extra ice mountain water bottles in your classroom on your desk in the morning, for our kids that did not bring their own bottle in.
Bathroom- K-2 teachers if your students need to use the bathroom please send them to the White Tent (Water/First Aid Station) and an adult will escort them back to Aspen.
1st/ 2nd grade team: We recognize that your recess starts at 10 a.m. The last station you are at will finish at 10:10. You can either finish your station and miss probably miss recess, or end your last station at 9:50, in order to walk back in time for your 10 a.m. recess schedule. It is totally up to you.
3rd- 4th grade team: We recognize that your recess/lunch schedule ends at 12pm. The stations start at 12pm prompt. Please refer to the chart in your packet of where you should be.
For example: If Motley gets to the field at 12:15, she should head to E1 and wait until the 12:20 airhorn sound to signal that the station has started.
(I know this can be confusing, if you are confused when you get out there ask a PE teacher where you should go)
